Annual Meeting & Dinner
March 9, 2012, 5:00-7:00 p.m.
2012 will be an exciting year for Ohio Farmers Markets! We want you to be a part of it. We need board members and committee people to keep track of legislation affecting farmers markets, facilitate regional meetings, help improve the handbook, and develop member services. Join us for discussions and networking over dinner.
Board Nominations wanted! We will be electing a board member from the Vendors group and one from the Manager group. If you know someone that would like to help guide our organization for a 3 year term (this could be yourself), please email your nomination to: mayda@fmmn.org. Board members meet once a month, sometimes by phone during peak season.
Dinner will be provided by Two Caterers, known for their gourmet food, green practices and sourcing of local ingredients.
General Agenda for the Annual Meeting:
- Greeting and Welcome from FMMN President Adam Schroeder
- Break out into vendor and managers groups to nominate and elect candidates for the Board and group chairpersons
- Discuss priorities for FMMN in 2012
- Dinner and networking and discussion while ballots are counted
- Results and next steps
Cost will be $15 to FMMN members and $20 to non-members. If you are attending the conference the price can be added to your registration. View Conference Information.
The 2012 Ohio Farmers’ Market Conference will be held on March 9-10, 2012 at the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center on OSU’s main campus, 2201 Fred Taylor Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43210 (map).
